Spooky Halloween Events In and Around the Bay Area 2015

The count-down begins; Halloween is just around the corner! Children of all ages are beginning to feel the excitement of the Halloween season. Extend the spooky excitement throughout the month of October by checking out these special events in the Bay Area:


Fremont

Perry family Pumpkin Patch – Turn choosing a family’s pumpkin into a learning experience by picking them directly from the patch! Located at 34600 Ardenwood Blvd in Fremont, the patch will be open to the public starting October 1st. Prices vary depending on the size of the pumpkin.

Pumpkin Patch Party – This is one Halloween party you don't want to miss! Located at 505 Driscoll Rd. in Fremont, the Pumpkin Patch Party is a major Halloween event your entire family will love. The party starts at 5:30 PM on October 31st and includes fun treats, bouncy houses, carnival games and much more!


Palo Alto

Halloween concert at Stanford University – This magical musical event starts at 7:30 PM on October 31st. Tickets are available for $15 at the box office. Students and seniors can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $10. Seats will fill up fast so make sure to purchase your tickets in advance.


San Jose

Rebel Yell Haunted House – Does your family prefer something a little more frightening? If so, make your way to Rebel Yell Haunted House on October 31st, located at 1577 Rebel Way in San Jose. Admission is $2 per person and the haunted house runs from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. This event might not be suited for young children but is a definite hit with older kids! 

Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch – A pumpkin patch that offers more than just pumpkins! This family orientated farm offers hay rides and train rides for the kiddies, a large petting zoo and many other engaging activities geared towards the little ones. Located at Santa Teresa Blvd at Bailey Ave., Spina Farms is open every day from 9:00 AM. Admission is free.


Alameda

Monsters Bash – A fun event for all! Come out to the annual Monsters Bash located on board the USS Hornet. Kids and grownups alike can take part in this annual event which includes a Halloween costume contest with a chance to win $500. Located at 707 W. Hornet Ave., this event should be on everyone's to-do list! Tickets are $30 online or $35 at the door.


San Mateo

Halloween Happenings – This event takes place on October 31st from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and offers fun for the entire family. Walk through an enchanted forest, enjoy themed games and snack foods, and participate in the yearly costume contest. This event is located at 725 Monte Diablo Ave. at the King Community Center.
